Skate Park tender advertised
Banbridge District Council’s Director of Leisure and Development has provided the Council committee with an update on the progress of plans for a new Skate park in Solitude Park.
In response to a request by Councillor Ian Burns for an update, the Director said the Council have gone out to tender twice for the proposed Skate Park.
During the first tender exercise no company met the criteria for design. The timeframe for the tender was extended by five weeks but no tender applications were submitted.
As a result, consideration is now being given for the advertising of a design and build tender for the project.
The Director has agreed to advertise the tender for the proposed Skate Park.
