Fans were delighted when news of the event broke last week, promoter Sean Wallace saying the number of calls from people hoping to attend the concert has been encouraging.

Some, he said, can’t wait to see Keith McDonald from the Showband Show and Lorraine McDonald, formerly of the Showband Show and now with The Conquerors Showband .
