Savage’s tribute
UPPER Bann Ulster Unionist Assembly Member George Savage MLA has released a statement following the death of Banbridge soldier Lance Corporal Stephen McKee in Afghanistan .
He said, “I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of L/Cpl Stephen McKee in the battlefields of Afghanistan. His sacrifice is not in vain, in the cause of peace and freedom.
“My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time, may they know the comfort that only God can bring at this very difficult time.”
