Ruelle visitors at Stormont

Visitors from Banbridge’s twin town Ruelle sur Touvre in France paid a visit to Parliament Building’s Stormont last week hosted by local Ulster Unionist MLA Jo-Anne Dobson.

The group had a tour of the building taking in the impressive Great Hall followed by the Senate and Assembly Chambers.

Mrs Dobson said: “It was an honour to host a tour and meet our visitors and their local hosts at Stormont. I pay tribute to the hard work of Councillors and members of Banbridge District Twinning Association in maintaining the important links between Banbridge and Ruelle sur Touvre through Banbridge District Council since 1994.

“I look forward to these links been maintained and indeed further strengthened through the new Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council to the benefit of all in our community.”
