Roadshow for older people visits Banbridge Library

LIBRARIES NI is inviting people aged 60+ to come along to a roadshow at Banbridge Library to help raise awareness of the benefits and services available for older people.

Information about benefits for older people, as well as free services offered by other government departments, including the Social Security Agency, NI Housing Executive, Land and Property Services and NI Direct will be on offer.

If you’re interested in finding out more, come along to Banbridge Library on Wednesday 6 October from 10am–3.30pm.

Josephine Patten, Information Manager with Libraries NI, explained: “One of the aims of Libraries NI is to promote key information services to the public, so by partnering with these agencies, we can target the older people in our communities with key benefit and support services available to them.”

These library road shows are been led by the Social Security Agency, along with support from NI Direct, Land and Property Services and the NI Housing Executive.
