Road repair scheme welcomed
Local councillors have thanked Transport NI for undertaking a road repair scheme in Gilford.
Councillors Glenn Barr, Seamus Doyle and Alderman Elizabeth Ingram were asked to lobby on behalf of the Gilford Forum to have the road repaired at the Banbridge Road junction roundabout.
They are pleased that lobbying has now paid off.
Councillor Glenn Barr commented: “We understand that some traffic disruption will occur, but only for a short time.
“We have been assured of minimal disruption by Tansport NI.”
