Retirement Group meeting
ON Monday March 26 Banbridge Retirement Group enjoyed a talk which was given by Mrs Sadie Beck, who is a long-time committee member of the group.
Sadie gave a nostalgic and, at times, humourous talk of an account of her life growing up in West Cork as the daughter of farming parents.
After a very varied career in nursing Sadie was appointed Sister-In-Charge of the maternity unit in Banbridge Hospital where she won the respect oand love of those with whom she came into contact.
