Rachelle crowned Best Dressed at Balmoral

Rachelle, who is taking a year out from her studies after being being awarded the Miss Ireland title and travelling to the Philippines to compete in Miss Earth, was the winner of a week for two in Lido di Jesolo on the Venetian Riviera courtesy of Topflight.

Her white and ivory ensemble with floral parasol brought little Bo Peep to mind, she said.

“It was inspired by the Belfast designer Una Rodden and her unusual cuts and stitching.

“I mixed and matched — the dress was from Candy Plum, the hat was from Debenhams, the shoes were Kurt Geiger and the bag was from New Look.”

This year saw a record entry, with 28 style queens throwing their hats in the ring for a chance to win the holiday to Italy and a cache of other prizes.

Rachelle also wins a£150 voucher to spend at Eden Park and £50 voucher for Aaron Heaney Hairdressing, along with a £100 Benificial handmade cosmetics hamper.
