Public appeal as Trust launches annual awards

The closing date for nominating a member of health and social care staff who has provided exceptional treatment and care for you or your relative is 5pm on 6 March.

Trust non-executive director Siobhan Rooney, said: “You may wish to acknowledge staff who work in hospital, come to your home, are based in health centres or day centres, or who work as support staff – porters, domestics, drivers or clerical workers . . .

“The judges will be particularly looking for evidence of: Putting the safety, needs and welfare of service users first; ensuring service users feel valued and cared for; reating service users with respect, dignity and compassion; going above and beyond the call of duty.”
