£9,535 for Dunaghy LOL
Dunaghy LOL 791 is one of 14 groups across Northern Ireland awarded grants totalling nearly £116,000 from the Big Lottery Fund’s Energy Efficient Venues programme.
The group, which runs activities and events for local people, will use the £9,535 grant to improve their hall’s energy efficiency by insulating the roof and walls and installing a new energy efficient electrical heating system, as well as new PVC windows and new door and buying energy efficient appliances.
The programme offers Lottery cash to local groups to carry out improvements to their community venues so they make savings on their heating and lighting costs and cut down on their spending.
