Prison warning given in assault case
Timothy John Hudson, Kiloanin Crescent, Banbridge, was convicted of common assault and criminal damage when he appeared at the local court on November 12 last year.
He was given 100 hours community service and ordered to pay £50 compensation. But he failed to attend for unpaid work and probation applied to have the community service orders revoked.

District Judge, Mr Paul Copeland, asked Hudson had the compensation been paid.
The defendant admitted he had not paid it but said that he would. Adjourning the case until June 9 Judge Copeland told the defendant that if he had not paid the compensation and completed the hours by that date he would be going to jail.
