Poots encourages rural transport voucher uptake

The RTF Voucher scheme is open to all non profit-making groups with a majority of members based in a rural area and more than 17 people travelling on a trip throughout the summer period.

If your group meets the criteria the scheme will subsidise part of the transport costs. The voucher is worth £100.

“As we know,” said Mr. Poots, “sa lot of bus trip take place over the summer months, especially with churches and loyal orders.”

Alderman James Tinsley, Chair of Lagan Valley Rural Transport, said, “The application for a trip in the summer must be submitted before the end of May 2012 and if you require any further information please contact me on 028 9260 3003.”
