Picnic has the bear necessities

FAMILIES with small children who attend the annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic in Scarva on Tuesday 14 August 2012 from 12pm until 2pm are guaranteed to enjoy a great afternoon of fun activities.

Little ones are encouraged to bring their favourite cuddly toy or furry friend along to this event and enjoy the array of activities free of charge – all of which have been provided by Banbridge District Council.

Small dancing divas will be able to groove like Gomez or bop like Bieber at the disco while little budding artists can join in the workshops and paint like Picasso. In addition, there will be face painting, balloon modelling and a bouncy castle.

Families are encouraged to pack a picnic so that they can have lunch on the village green with a host of large cuddly characters. Scarva Visitor Centre also serves a wide range of delicious homemade cuisine.
