Police clampdown on paths used as a racetrack
Police said they are to take a zero-tolerance approach to the public pathways in Craigavon being used as a racetrack by young teenagers.
Brownlow police said a Pit Bike was seized this week and will be crushed.
A spokesperson said: “Police can’t stress enough the dangers associated with this type of activity. Parents your children, your responsibility and “BEWARE” of offences associated with permitting no insurance - no driving licence and Driving on land other than a road may well be considered.”
Police warned that parents could also face penalty points and possibly losing their licence.
