Police appealing over two linked burglaries in Scarva

At approximately 2.30pm on Monday, August 22, a report was received that a white Ford Transit van had been stolen from a business premises on the Old Mill Road, Scarva. The white van contained a lorry compressor and a fuel tank.

The white van was then used to facilitate a further burglary around the same time in which a red Honda quad bike was stolen from a property in the Mullaghglass Road area of Scarva and placed in the back of the white van.

Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding these incidents or anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity to contact police in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 268 22/08/16 and 284 22/08/16.
