Police appeal for info following assault
Police in Banbridge are appealing for information following an assault on Downshire Road.
Constable Shauna Magennis explained: “We have received a report of a 23 year old man being assaulted by a number of people around 1.30am on Saturday, 4 October.
The man was knocked to the ground and required medical treatment for injuries to his face and shoulder.
“We believe the area may have been busy around this time and are asking anyone who witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it to contact us on 101, quoting ref: 133 041015.”
