Pleaded guilty to sexual offences
A Banbridge man has been given a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to sexual offences at Newry Crown Court.
Martin McKnight, 62, from Mount Charles in Banbridge, was sentenced to eleven months in prison, suspended for three years.
The defendant was charged with two counts of gross indecency toward a child, indecent assault on a female and two counts of indecent assault on a female child.
The defendant was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for a period of ten years.
