Plant and cake sale is back

Society members always donate a wide range of shrubs and bedding plants for the occasion, and their generosity is very much appreciated.

In addition, the ladies of the society always bring in a range of cakes, pastries and jams, and the horticultural society is undebted to them too.

This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic gardeners in the area to purchase some of the varieties of plants that are grown by local expert gardeners and acclimatise them to out-door conditions.

Chairman Herbie McCauley would like to thank all members of the society for donating plants which are sold to raise money for the horticultural society.
