Planning for the future - the next stage

THE Development Section at Coleraine Borough Council, in partnership with consultants Colin Buchanan & Partners, is currently developing regeneration strategies for Portstewart, Castlerock, Garvagh and Kilrea.

Council aims to create a strategy, individually tailored for each town and village which will provide a clear vision for the future, alongside a programme of actions that will shape the regeneration agenda over the next ten years.

The planning for the future, regeneration strategy for the Borough creates an opportunity to re-consider economic priorities, and provides a framework for the physical regeneration of each town and village. It assesses the ways in which all aspects of development can be revisited, refreshed and further enhanced.
