Temporary closure of Housing Executive’s Carrickfergus High Street premises

The High Street premises are due to reopen on Monday, March 16, according the housing authority.

In a public notice the Housing Executive explained: “This work is unavoidable and necessary for the safety of staff and customers who visit our Carrickfergus office.”

Staff have been relocated to other offices during the week-long closure and phones calls are being automatically diverted to them for action.

“Homeless assessments will still be carried out with special arrangements put in place to assist those in an emergency situation.

“We will also make appointments where necessary to meet with customers at a convenient agreed location,” the Housing Executive added.
