Talking Newspaper a ‘great resource’
“I have been in contact with a local resident who is blind and has had difficulties in recent times navigating around the city centre when there are street works underway,” she said. “He told me about the Talking Newspaper so I contacted the Council’s Corporate Communications officers to see if relevant and timely information from Council could be included.
“I am delighted that information has now started to go to the wonderful team who put together the Talking Newspaper. It is vital that all our residents have full access to all Council information, particularly during the current pandemic, and the Talking Newspaper is a great resource for this.”

It’s also great news that the Council will use the Talking Newspaper to keep us advised about community support during the COVID emergency.”
