Representatives from communities across the district, statutory agencies and local organisations joined PCSP members to acknowledge the work that has taken place throughout the three years that Banbridge PCSP has been in existence.

Chair of Banbridge PCSP, Councillor Seamus Doyle, said, “I would particularly like to mention three local community representatives - Mr Maxie Beal and Mr Barry McGuigan who received ‘Highly Commended’ awards at the 2014 Justice in the Community Awards, and Mrs Gillian Corbett who received a BEM in the New Year’s Honours List.”

Councillor Doyle continued, “The work of the current PCSP Members should also be acknowledged as should the work of the previous members of the District Policing Partnership and the Community Safety Partnership.”

Banbridge PCSP Vice-Chair, Mrs Hilary Dobson, referred to the contribution and commitment of the Independent Members.

The Banbridge PCSP Annual Report for 2014/15 was also launched at the event.
