ONCE again the Ulster Military Vehicle Club will be bringing their "Return to the Past" event to the Ross Memorial Field, Loughbrickland on Saturday 21st June and Sunday 22nd June, starting at 10.30am until 5.30pm each day.

Entrance will cost 5 for an adult and 1 for children. There will be free car parking at the venue, entrance by the first gate on the B3 Rathfriland road 20metres from the junction with the A1 carriageway.

The UMVC members own the vehicles while the Wartime Living History Association and the World War II Experience will provide all the scenarios with their members dressed in the uniforms of the period for the unit and country they are representing.

Other members will be showing military memorabilia by way of displays and scenarios.

Organisers have applied for and have received permission of the Fisheries Branch, DCALNI to launch the Amphibious Vehicles on Lough Brickland again this year. The vehicles concerned will be an Alvis Stalwart and a Hagglunds All Terrain Vehicle.
