The visit is one of a number of family events Sainsbury’s has organised as part of its Summer Sorted campaign which is set to inspire parents with simple solutions on how to keep the children entertained.
Carrickfergus store manager Bea Cox said: “Our Summer Sorted campaign has a great range of ideas to help families get the most from their summer holidays. From discounts off popular local attractions to our in-store treasure hunt, there’s something for everyone.
“It’s the first time we’ve held a campaign like this and we hope it makes it easier for our customers to have a great summer”.

It has also teamed up with Nectar to help families have a budget-busting day out at a number of attractions and is providing a range of summer recipe ideas and inspiration to customers through an information station.
