The company are getting ready for this year’s pantomime ‘Moother Goose’, which will be staged in November,

Banbridge Musical Society, which celebrates its 71st anniversary this year will be staging the family favourite ‘Mother Goose’ at the Iveagh Movie Studios from Friday November 14 until Saturday November 22.

Directed and Choreographed by Leonard Anderson, with Musical Direction by Colin Loughead, the show will bring to life the fantastic, magical fairytale of the goose that lays the golden eggs which helps poor old Mother Goose out of her poverty stricken predicament.

Banbridge Musical Society has its official start back date for ‘Mother Goose’ on Monday September 1 at 7.30pm in Abercorn Primary School on the Newry Road in
Banbridge.

Auditions for the show will also be held at Abercorn Primary School on Wednesday September 3, with kids and teenagers auditions to be held from 6.30pm and adult auditions to be held from
7.45pm.

The rumour “flapping” around Banbridge is that the goose can be seen laying golden eggs in various locations during the month of October... So keep your eyes peeled for a large goose on the loose.

The curtain will be raised on ‘Mother Goose’ on Friday November 14 at 7.30pm.

There will also be matinee performances of the show on Saturday 15, Sunday 16 and Saturday November 22.

Tickets are priced at £12.00 for adults and £10.00 for children and senior citizens, with family tickets available for
£40.00.
