Outreach group to host its next meeting at St Peter’s Hall

The Community Outreach Group in Lurgan has invited the public to its next meeting at 8pm on Wednesday, November 27 in St Peter’s Parish Hall.

The topic of the meeting will be ‘The Gaelic Revival’, a movement which was established to renew the Irish language and culture which had fallen into decline.

Given that many people from both traditions played prominent roles in the emergence of this movement and in its subsequent implementation, it may therefore be perceived as part of the history which we all share, so people are invited to come along and evaluate its significance for themselves.
