'˜One Big Weekend' on way for Newbuildings
The fun will kick off on Friday, July 29, with a children’s disco in the community centre from 5.30pm to 7.30pm (£3 or £5 per family) followed by a foam party for the 12 to 16 age group, from 8pm to midnight (£5).
On Saturday, July 30, things will really start to take off with a full days of events running from 10am to 1am.

Hide AdThere will be a children’s cake competition and coffee morning.
And from 12pm to 5.30pm there will be fun for all the family with bubble football, bouncy caste, kids’ favourite characters, BBQ, face-painting, demonstrations from the PSNI and fire brigade and lots more.
From 2pm to 3pm music will be provided by the Garth Brooks Experience and then from 6pm until late there’ll be a bar and music from Jason Dixon, David Dougherty, Dessie Allen and The Housem8s, followed by a disco.
Then on Sunday, from 11.30am to 11pm, there’ll be the annual ‘Legends Day’ with free entry to the cricket, with music from Ritchie Remo, Hudson Blue, Spangles, Gina G and Northern Lights.

Hide AdFrom 6pm to 8pm there’ll be Newbuildings Does Dance, and from 8pm to 11pm there’ll be a disco with Jason Barr.
And don’t forget the prize draw. First prize is a stay in the bridal suite of the Ballyliffin Lodge and Spa with a three course meal, champagne and two spa treatments.
Second prize is an overnight stay in the Hilton, Templepatrick, including a three course meal. The draw will take place on Sunday, July 31.
