Alleged assault
A 22 YEAR-Old man was due to appear in court yesterday (Monday) in relation to a number of alleged offences in Rathfriland over the weekend.
The man has been charged with assault, assault on police, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
He was due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court and it is believed the charges relate to an incident in the Downpatrick Street area of the town on Saturday, May 18.
