New season at Loughbrickland
PRESIDENT Betty Mathers welcomed members and guest speaker, Andrew Adair, to the first meeting of the season of Loughbrickland WI.
Andrew, from Travel Solutions, gave an informative talk on different types of holidays and short breaks suitable for all kinds of holidaymakers.
Birthday girls were Freda Sally, Eileen Law and Reta Mulligan and the competition for good handwriting was won by Margaret Potts, with Reta Mulligan placed second.
Laura McClean conducted the social half hour and after supper the meeting ended with the singing of the Country Women’s Song.
