New opening times for local libraries are announced

Many libraries across Northern Ireland will be operating new patterns of opening hours from Monday 2 November.

In May of this year, the Libraries NI Board agreed the policy for library opening hours and the new total weekly hours were then announced to customers.

Customers across the network of 98 public libraries were then consulted, at a local level, to identify and agree the most suitable pattern of opening hours for each library.
