A new mural is unveiled in Gilford

DUP Assembly candidate Sydney Anderson has welcomed the unveiling of the Gilford Mural project which recently took place.

“I along with my colleague Cllr Buckley, Gilford Concerned Residents Group and Gilford Community Forum lobbied for this funding to be provided and it is therefore pleasing to see that the murals at Bridge Street/Stramore Road have been completed,” he said.

“I would like to take this opportunity to praise the collaborative approach of DSD, the ABC Council, the Gilford Community Forum, Gilford Community Youth Club, Gilford Concerned Residents Group and the Kindred Spirits Over 50s Club which has been important in ensuring the delivery of this worthwhile project.

“It was great for me to be able to attend this event recently and I was greatly impressed with the artwork on display.”
