Murder charges set to proceed

Dromore double murder accused Leslie Ross (pictured) will be produced in Banbridge Magistrates Court on 26th June for a Preliminary Enquiry.

Prosecutor Mr Murphy confirmed to last week’s court that PE papers will be delivered to the defence team next Thursday and the PE will proceed.

Ross is charged with murdering Margaret Weise on 31 August 2007 and Michelle Bickerstaff on 21 April 2012.

He is also charged with indecently assaulting a female, gross indecency with a child and indecently assaulting a female child, on dates between January 1979 and June 1990.
