THE final preparations are being made for the second annual Banbridge Motor and Sport Car Show, which comes to town next Sunday August 5.
The show is being hosted at the Outlet by the newly-formed Banbridge Motor Club.
And with a variety of over 200 vehicles to admire you will have plenty to interest petrol heads and non-petrol heads alike,
Joining the show this year will be the much talked about PSNI Rural Crime Awareness Tractor as well as the PSNI ‘show’ Mitsubishi EVO, fully kitted out to appeal to the young car enthusiast with video screens and speakers.
There will be trade stands as well as a live commentary throughout the day from one of Ireland’s top show DJ’s, Danny Dee.
The show opens at 11am, running to 5pm and is free to all spectators. The NI Chest Heart and Stroke Association will be the charity to benefit from the show and will also be there should you require your collesteral check or health check.
The Stig will also be making an appearance mid-day for a few hours.
When the show ends at 5pm a procession of the show cars will do a tour of the town. From the Outlet they will travel down the Newry Road, through the town centre to the Bridge then left along Downshire Road, left up Reilly Street and left again along Scarva Street before finally coming back through town centre to the Outlet.
