More snow expected
The local area is bracing itself for yet more sleet, snow and frost this week which is expected to cause yet more disruption over the next day or so.
According to the MET office a band of heavy snow or sleet showers was expected from the west late Monday night with widespread frost and a minimum temperature of -3C.
Though expected to be bright and mainly dry on Wednesday, by Thursday the weather was expected to be turning cloudier with light, patchy, rain and hill snow.
