BEAUTY and glamour will descend on the Coach next month as local girls compete in the Miss NI heat.
The competition is celebrating its 25th anniversary and Alison Campbell’s Model Agency is keen to discover more beautiful women to compete for a chance to represent Miss NI at the Miss World competition later this year.
This year’s contest is being sponsored by the Outlet and the finalists will take part in a summer fashion show at the complex in June.
Event organiser Alison Campbell is looking for entrants aged between 17 and 24 years from all parts of Northern Ireland to take over the crown from current Miss NI Lori Moore.
“We need someone who has that extra special quality, the ‘je ne sais quois’, it takes more than good looks to win Miss Northern Ireland ,” said Alison.
“The winner will need to carry out an extensive range of modelling and promotional assignments and be free to travel to the Miss World final later this year. It takes great stamina, commitment and confidence to carry off the title, and Lori Moore has been a wonderful ambassador this year.”
Siobhan McKeown, the Outlet’s Marketing Manager, said the centre is delighted to be sponsoring the event.
“It is the first time we have been involved with Miss Northern Ireland and we look forward to working with Alison on the 25th anniversary of her organising the event,” said
“As part of our exclusive relationship with Miss Northern Ireland 2011 each heat winner will be dressed and styled by an Outlet stylist for the Gala Final, enabling us to showcase the fashion and accessories available throughout the 60 stores at the Outlet.”
The Miss NI winner will receive thousands of pounds worth of prizes including a brand new car, clothes, make-up and hairdressing.
Girls wishing to enter will be picked out each week at The Coach or they should send a pic and their name and contact details to
Appletiser Miss NI, Alison Campbell Model Agency, 381 Beersbridge Road, BELFAST BT5 5DT.
The Banbridge heat will take place in the Coach on April 21 at 8pm.
