Mini Twelfth parade to honour war heroes

Lower Iveagh district LOL No 1 are holding their annual mini twelfth parade and arch opening on Saturday June 28 at 7pm.
As part of the annual Lower Iveagh District LOL No 1 Mini-Twelfth celebrations, members of Lower Iveagh Cultural & Heritage Society are planning to commemorate and remember those from Dromore who fought in the First World War. The mini-Twelfth celebrations will take place in the town square from 7pm on Saturday June 28. Brethren to meet at Dromore Orange Hall and parade to the square where a religious service will take place after the official opening of the arch by Mrs Jennifer Wallace, wife of the WDM Bro John Wallace.

During the service Bro John Wallace will give a short talk on World War 1.

All brethren of the district are asked to attend and the general public are invited also to watch the parade to the square.
