Mindless vandals go on school wrecking rampage

POLICE are hunting vandals who caused around £3,000 of damage during a wrecking spree at Glengormley High School earlier this week.

More than 30 windows and 18 skylights were smashed during the incident in the early hours of Monday morning (March 8).

It is understood that footage from the school's CCTV cameras shows three individuals wearing hoods breaking windows and climbing onto the roof of the building at around 1am.

The vandals left a trail of destruction which the North Eastern Education and Library Board says will cost thousands of pounds to repair.
