Mentalist Meade to appear at big brick weekend

An exhibition of rare and unusual construction toys and 3D puzzles will be exhibited to raise funds for two children’s charities on May 23-26 at The Outlet, Banbridge.

The Big Brick Weekend is being hosted by local communication and marketing student Michael Finan, and making a guest appearance on the Saturday at 11am will be TV Mentalist David Meade.

The exhibition is free to attend, but there is a suggested donation of £1. All proceeds raised from the Exhibition will be donated to two children’s Charities- Clic Sargent and the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

The Outlet have kindly agreed to let Michael display his collection which includes a working, life-size Grandfather Clock puzzle, and models of the Sydney Opera House, Petronas Towers, and Taipei 101 Skyscraper.

Michael has always been passionate about making things and describes it as being therapeutic. He had the idea to put on an exhibition when a friend was astounded by the sheer amount of toys which are stored in a specially built room in the garage of his family home.

Michael hopes the exhibition will wow and amaze the children.
