Meeting at Gilford Community Centre

Upper Bann DUP Assembly candidate Sydney Anderson is encouraging local residents to attend Gilford Concerned Residents Group's Annual Open Meeting which is due to take place on Thursday (April 28) at 7.30pm, in Gilford Community Centre.

Mr Anderson praised the work carried out by the group.

He said it will be a great way for the community to find out what work has already taken place.

“This will be a worthwhile opportunity for residents to hear about the good work the group is involved in around the village and there will also be an opportunity for members of the public to raise issues of concern that they may have,” he said.

“It has been a pleasure for my colleague Councillor Jonathan Buckley and I to work with the group on a number of issues and it has been encouraging when we have collectively been able to achieve positive results for the local area.

“I am hopeful that the Annual Open Meeting will be a success and I want to wish GCRG well as they continue to keep Gilford moving forward.”
