Market checks to combat crime
Police have conducted a proactive check at Rathfriland mart as part of a provincewide drive to tackle rural crime.
The check was part of a multi-agency drive involving the PSNI, An Garda Síochána, DARD, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) in the Republic and the Department of Health’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
