Man taken to hospital after attack in Co Derry

Police in Co Derry are appealing for information about an assault.

The incident occurred at Catherine Street in Limavady shortly after 1.30am, Monday June 8, according to police.

“A man aged 27 was taken to hospital after he was allegedly punched by an assailant who got out of a car,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“Information can be given on the police non-emergency number, 101, or by calling the Crimestoppers Charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
