Man stabbed in Banbridge

Police were called to Golf Terrace, off Huntly Road in the town, at about 11.10pm.

A man in his 30s was found at the scene with stab wounds which are not believed to be life-threatening.

He was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be stable.

Two men, aged 24 and 37, have been arrested – one at the scene and the other in the area a short time later.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about what happened to contact them on 101.
