Man is facing cocaine and cannabis charges

A 33-year-old man has been returned for trial to Newry Crown Court charged with possessing and supplying cocaine and cannabis.

Daniel Joseph McGreevy, Lagmore Dale, Dunmurry, appeared at a preliminary enquiry last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court.

The charges against him allege that on May 31, 2015, in the County Court Division of South Down he was in possession of cocaine and cannabis and he had the drugs with intent to supply them.

He is also accused of cultivating a cannabis plant and possession of criminal property on the same date.

McGreevy was remanded on his own bail of £500 to appear for arraignment at Newry Crown Court on December 12.
