‘Love for Life’ congratulated

DUP Councillors Cllr Mark Baxter and Cllr Carla Lockhart have commended Love for Life on their successful coffee morning aimed at raising funds for their continued work throughout our schools.

Speaking following the event at the Love for Life headquarters in Waringstown both councillors stated, “Love for Life is part of the fabric of Waringstown having been started many years ago by local couple Janice and Richard Barr.

“We are always pleased to support this cause given the work they do within our schools and amongst our young people.

“Love for Life is an independent charity, working to equip young people with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to make good choices when it comes to relationships and sex. This work is invaluable amongst our children and young people and to that end we will continue to support and champion the sterling efforts made by the team at Love for Life and the many volunteers that assist on a daily basis.

“We would congratulate them on their efforts on Saturday and look forward to working with them in the future.”
