Lockhart supports watch scheme
DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart has welcomed the launch of Neighbourhood Watch in the Avenue Road.
She said: “It is great to see local people committing to the roll out of this scheme and I know residents will feel much safer knowing there are people who have committed to be alert and report suspicious activity.
“It is a known fact that Neighbourhood Watch schemes help deter crime and within Craigavon there are over 50 schemes like this running. I am also working with residents in Dollingstown and other areas to help them commence such schemes.”
