Local artists launch exhibition at the Ozanam Centre gallery

A SHOW hosted by a local artists’ collective has been welcomed by a Craigavon councillor.

Sinn Fein’s Liam Mackle congratulated the North Armagh Artists Collective on the opening of their latest show ‘North’, which features work from all of the fifteen members of the collective.

The current show opened last Thursday in Gallery Two of the NAAC Studios in the Ozanam Centre and will remain on exhibition from Monday to Saturday until December 23.

Speaking after the opening of the exhibition, Cllr Mackle urged people to visit the gallery and show their support for their local artists.

He said: “The North Armagh Artists Collective is a vibrant group of artists and they are showcasing a wide range of artistic mediums and diverse styles.

“Whatever your taste in visual arts, you will see some very good work and discover interesting exhibits and I would encourage people to go along to the Ozanam Centre in William Street between now and the twenty third of December and show support for our local artists.”
