* Stolen car collision

POLICE in Ballymoney are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on the Benvarden Road last Monday (January 14).

Officers were alerted after a Blue Renault Scenic was stolen from its owners home in Ballycastle and discovered following the single car collision.

Anyone who saw the incident or can identify the driver is asked to call the police on 0845 600 8000 or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

* Shed break-in

Police in Ballymoney are investigating following a report on Friday, January 18 that a generator had been stolen from a shed on Mullan Road.

It is believed a number of dog accessories including leads and muzzles were also taken. The items stolen had an estimated value of around £500.

* Men arrested

TWO men have been arrested following disturbances on Main Street, Ballymoney during the early hours of Sunday morning (1.30am).

A 44-year-old male was arrested for alleged criminal damage after a window was broken at licensed premises. Meanwhile another 52-year-old male was also arrested following an alleged assault.

Both men received street bail to return to the station.

* Machinery damage

POLICE are investigating following a report that damage had been caused to plant machinery on the Bann Road around 4.20pm on Sunday.

It is believed windows were broken to a piece of machinery.

Police believe the criminals made their way on foot towards Milltown following the incident and are appealing for anyone who saw them to come forward.

* Windows smashed

TWO windows were smashed on a grey BMW parked on Wallace Road, Rasharkin.

It is believed the incident took place sometime on Sunday night/Monday morning.

Police are appealing for information.
