DIESEL STOLEN

Police received a report that diesel was stolen from a tank at Fairhead Road, Ballycastle during the course of last week. The theft is being investigated at present.

DRIVING

Police stopped a motorist in Mayo Drive in the early hours of Saturday morning and suspect the vehicle was being driven without insurance. Police enquiries are ongoing.

MP3 PLAYER STOLEN

Police received a report that an MP3 player was stolen from a bedroom at accommodation at Main Street, Ballintoy. The theft was reported to police on Saturday 28 February.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Police arrested a man on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a vehicle in the Bushmills area. The man was released on bail as the investigation continues.

HEATING OIL THEFT

Officers received a report that heating oil was stolen from a house at Heronshaw, Bushmills on Sunday 01 March. It is thought that a pipe was cut and the oil taken.

WINDOW SMASHED

The front window of a house at Mosside Gardens was smashed and the property entered overnight between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Damage was caused to furniture inside the house, with a sofa vandalised. Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have saw suspicious activity in the area.
