Jurgen Klopp inspired Halloween costume goes viral

A local boy is over the moon after pictures of him dressed as one of his football heroes has gone viral.

Rathcoole boy, Jacob Richmond dressed up as Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, to attend the ‘Screams and Tricks’ event at V36 on Saturday evening.

Jacob’s mum Lynsay took pictures of the Liverpool-mad five-year-old dressed as the Anfield supremo and shared them online.

Speaking to the Times, Lynsay said: “We shared Jacob’s picture on Twitter and within minutes Jamie Carragher had re-tweeted it. From then it has gone viral with 200+ tweets and 602 likes on Twitter alone. Instagram has 1,230 likes on an LFC page also- Jacob is over the moon.”

The Whitehouse Primary School pupil is looking forward to a trip to Anfield in December, where he will meet Santa Claus and attend a Christmas party.
