Jobs Club date at Ballee centre
The Job Club - which runs from 9.30am to 12 noon - is open to everyone and provides an opportunity to find out about how to apply for available jobs as well as getting guidance on CV writing skills, jobsearch techniques and interview skills.
Kirsty Hill, Job Club Leader at Ballymena Jobs & Benefits office said: “The Job Club assists unemployed people to find jobs by encouraging them to adopt a ‘self help’ approach, facilitated by the tailored assistance and guidance of DEL’s Job Club Leaders.

Hide Ad“Staff will be on hand to offer advice on topics such as CV writing and presentation, how to develop your social media skills to help with your jobsearch, help to bridge the gap between written and online applications, how, where and when to look for jobs and selling your skills to employers.
“The Job Club leaders play a major role in advising clients on how to become equipped with the skills necessary to sell themselves and apply for relevant job opportunities.
“They also provide places where people who are unemployed can get together to support each other find a job.
The Department for Employment & Learning’s Careers Service will also be providing their expertise about possible career options as part of the Job Club service.
